Dr. Anderson joined CPA after relocating from the Seattle area where she was employed at Madigan Army Medical Center, Child and Family Behavioral Health Services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Dr. Anderson specializes in work with children and adolescents as well as young adults (ages 3-22), providing both psychological evaluation and therapy services.


Dr. Anderson completed her doctoral degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo, a predoctoral internship at the Mailman Center for Child Development, University of Miami School of Medicine, and fellowships at Nemours Children’s Clinic, Jacksonville FL and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis TN. Dr. Anderson was previously employed by The Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Birmingham and All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg FL as a pediatric psychologist. Her particular areas of interest include psychological evaluation of learning disabilities, academic achievement, cognitive abilities, ADHD, autism/Aspergers and adolescent personality functioning. Therapy interests include cognitive-behavioral interventions for anxiety and depression, social and emotional skill development, Asperger’s syndrome and HFA, children with chronic and acute medical conditions, and military children and families. Outside of work, Dr. Anderson and her husband spend time with their 3 dogs and their daughter when she is home from university.
